CASE STUDY: Service As A Competitive Advantage: TDM To SIP Conversion Results In Improved Quality And Cost Reduction

PHONE: 800-7O6-5199 EMAIL: SALES@TSICORP.NET WEBSITE:WWW.TSICORP.NET

Background
This dialer customer performs market research and polling for major national organizations "Somewhat satisfied" with their current Tier 1 provider they were NOT actively shopping, but did have occasional voice quality issues. They were referred to Televergence Solutions because the referral source was confident Televergence Solutions could substantially lower their current outbound usage costs (in excess of a penny per minute) and access charges. Although they were testing with another Wolf provider, due to the very poor results using the carrier-provided Cisco 5300 that they had no access to, this was not perceived as an efficientor stable solution.

Challenges
The Customer's current access to the provider's network was via 20+ T-1/PRI circuits. Their monthly spend during peak seasons averaged S10,000.00 approximately $6,000.00 (60%) in usage costs and S4000.00 (40%) in access charges.

SOLUTIONS
Televergence Solutions was positioned by the referral source as a dialer expert with service. As A Competitive Advantage supported by C-Level Account Management. Unlike all other providers who were approached. Televergence Solutions agreed to evaluate a more cost effective, custom solution for the Customer

RESULTS
Televergence Solutions replaced the T-1 PRI access with two (2) very low cost, custom-configured Cisco 5400 Routers WITH customer access, thereby eliminating the Customers 84,000.00 (40%) access costs. The customer's existing 20-50megs Paccess through their LEC provided sufficient MRC access.

Service was turned up within a few weeks, tested for almost a week and then some traffic was moved to Televergence Solutions. Within the first month, the Customer moved 100% of their traffic based on our Service As A Competitive Advantage, quality and technical expertise. There have been no trouble tickets to date and the Customer's owner and IT leadership consider Telewergence Solutions to be experts.

In addition to the $4,000.00 (40%) access cost savings, Televergence Solutions has saved the Customer an additional 25% of their usage costs for a total monthly savings of S5.500.00(55%).
